Adam J. Tragone, an Associate in Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky’s Pittsburgh Office, is a litigator with a focus on trial and appellate litigation, complex commercial and civil litigation, and media and entertainment law.  Mr. Tragone’s litigation practice consists of representation of corporate clients in various matters including insurance coverage disputes, professional liability defense, and product liability defense.

A 2016 graduate of Duquesne University School of Law, Mr. Tragone graduated from Juniata College in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and History. While attending Duquesne University School of Law, Mr. Tragone was the Executive Editor of Duquesne Law Review, Volume 54, a recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for the Highest Grade, Advanced Constitution Law, a recipient of the Louis L. Manderino Honor Society for Distinguished Achievement in Moot Court and a Recipient of the McGinley Fellowship for Public Service.  Mr. Tragone also authored Defining the Press Clause: The End of Hot News and the Attempt to Save Traditional Media in Volume 15, Issue 1 of the Chicago-Kent Journal of Intellectual Property.

Prior to law school, Mr. Tragone served as managing editor of Human Events.  For three years, Mr. Tragone stewarded the nation’s oldest weekly conservative newspaper in providing daily national political coverage in both print and online formats.  During this time, Mr. Tragone wrote the paper’s editorials, conducted weekly newsmaker interviews, and appeared on national television and radio providing political analysis.  He also served as director of external relations for Young America’s Foundation, a principal conservative outreach organization for high school and college students.

A native of Pittsburgh, Mr. Tragone currently resides in Washington, PA.  He is an avid golfer, tennis player, skier, and is active in his local parish, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church as a member of its Knights of Columbus council.
