Dr. Jessica Huber is an Assistant Professor in the Undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Nursing and the Graduate Education and Leadership Master of Science in Nursing programs at Carlow University. Jessica has an Associate of Science (ASN) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from LaRoche University, a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from Carlow University, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Instructional Management and Leadership from Robert Morris University. She is a Senior Professional Staff Nurse at Children’s Hospital and holds a Critical Care Nurse Certification (CCRN) and a Certified Pediatric Nurse Certification (CPN).
She is a nursing co-chair for Camp Inspire, an overnight camp for medically complex children with tracheostomies and ventilators. Her dissertation, Perceptions of an accelerated second-degree bachelor of science in nursing program: A conceptual replication study was completed in the Spring of 2020. Jessica was honored to be a 50 Finest Honoree for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in 2017 and to be a recipient of The Cameos of Caring award from Carlow University in May of 2020.
