Jeanine L. DeBor

Jeanine L. DeBor is the director of law alumni relations and development at Duquesne University School of Law. In this role, she is responsible for the planning and implementation of programs and services that strategically engage alumni and provide tangible benefits to the Duquesne Law community.

Jeanine received her B.A. cum laude from Duquesne University and her J.D. from The Dickinson School of Law. Prior to joining Duquesne, she was a child advocate at KidsVoice, representing abused and neglected children in Allegheny County. She previously practiced law in the areas of workers’ compensation, social security disability, and commercial litigation. Jeanine is a past-chair of the Allegheny County Bar Association’s Women in the Law Division and currently serves as chair of the Gender Bias Subcommittee. She is a past trustee and Sustaining Fellow of the Allegheny County Bar Foundation. She is a member of the Women’s Bar Association of Western PA and CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education). Jeanine is also a member of the Duquesne University Anti-Discrimination Review Panel, the DU Sexual Violence Conduct Board, and is a volunteer consultant for the Bayer Center Executive Service Corps. (ESC). Jeanine was a member of Soroptimist International of Pittsburgh for 15 years, serving as President for 4 years; she was also a board member of InVision Human Services (formerly SharpVision).
