Justin Griffith has been CEO of the Regional Learning Alliance (RLA), a collaborative educational nonprofit since 2011, previously providing oversight to the RLA through his position with Slippery Rock University. Justin holds a Doctor of Educational Psychology and a Master of Communication Studies from West Virginia University. He previously served WVU by leading the educational programming and conferencing for more than 5 years at WVU Jackson’s Mill campus.

He serves as a member of the American Psychological Association, Allegheny Conference on Community Development – Community Revitalization Committee, and serves on the board of directors for HeartPrints Center for Early Education, the International Association of Conference Centers (IACC), Cranberry Woods Association, and as Board Secretary to Regional Learning Alliance. Justin has undergraduate degrees in Business Management and Architectural Engineering from Fairmont State University where he graduated with the University’s Kellogg Foundation Leadership Award. He is a graduate of Leadership Pittsburgh Development Institute XIV.

Justin has been honored in the Pittsburgh region as a Most Admired CEO, Fast Tracker, and Top 40 Under 40. Outside of his position, Justin is a Master Gardener in Allegheny County through Penn State University, serving as the Education Chair. His many interests include parks, sustainability, gardening, travel, architecture, design, history, art, and the performing arts. He often finds inspiration from these interests, bringing creative ideas back to his profession.
