Matthew Caplan

Matthew is an associate at Reed Smith LLP. Prior to joining the firm, he earned his JD from Georgetown University Law Center and his B.S., magna cum laude, from Georgetown University. During law school, Matthew was a member of the Georgetown Law Appellate Litigation Clinic, where he helped draft and file petitions for certiorari to the Supreme Court of the United States as well as appellate briefs to U.S. Courts of Appeals and the Board of Immigration Appeals at the Department of Justice. Before law school, Matthew worked as a federal government consultant with a global consulting firm in Washington, D.C., where he advised various clients, including the Military Health System within the Department of Defense.
