Luke Berenbrok is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy and Therapeutics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. Luke has centered his research, teaching, and service on caring for patients in community and outpatient settings. After studying biochemistry at Grove City College, Luke completed his Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Pittsburgh followed by advanced community-based pharmacy residency trainingĀ at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Luke’s research on community access to COVID-19 vaccines has been covered by major news outlets including the Washington Post, CNN, NPR, FiveThirtyEight, and KDKA-Pittsburgh. In addition to his research, Luke cares for patients in primary care by personalizing medication selection with pharmacogenomics. He has been named the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy Teacher of the Year and twice named Faculty Member of the Year by his students.
