Alana McMasters is an assurance services manager at Sisterson. She joined the firm in 2009 after graduating from Washington and Jefferson College. After about 5 years at Sisterson, she worked in the accounting department for a large urgent care provider and rejoined Sisterson in 2016. Her experience outside of public accounting gives her the ability to closely relate to her clients in regard to operational and accounting matters. She provides accounting and auditing services to clients in a variety of industries with significant experience in manufacturing and distribution, development stage, private investment, not-for-profit, and governmental entities. 

In addition to her client responsibilities, she is the Treasurer of a board for a preschool whose mission is to serve young people and their families through a culturally diverse, creative, child-focused learning environment. She is also a member of the firm’s employee benefit plan practice group, an active member and co-chair of the firm’s Advisory Committee, an active member of the firm’s LiveWell Committee, and serves as an instructor for the firm’s in-house continuing professional education sessions relating to auditing and accounting matters.

Finally, she holds her Certified Public Accountants license and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts (AICPA) and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
