Kevin assumed responsibility for the Investor Relations function at U. S. Steel in March 2019.  Prior to being named Head of Investor Relations, Kevin served as Director of Investor Relations and Special Assistant to the CEO from 2017 – 2019.

Kevin joined U. S. Steel in 2008 as a Management Associate in the company’s financial planning and analysis (FP&A) group.  He progressed through various FP&A roles with increasing levels of responsibility.  More recently, Kevin held positions in the company’s corporate strategy and business development organization.  During his time in corporate strategy and business development, he oversaw the company’s business valuations for capital planning, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and other strategic projects.  In addition, he helped lead the development and implementation of the company’s strategy, including developing key performance indicators, facilitating the annual strategic planning progress and communicating the company’s long-term strategy to internal and external stakeholders.  

Kevin earned his bachelor’s degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he majored in finance and sports marketing.  He also earned his Master of Business Administration from Duquesne University.
