Dr. Christal Dickun
Dr. Christal Dickun serves as the Medical Director for the Center for Pain Relief and Longevity, as well as Site Lead for the UPMC Urgent Care in Wexford, and also is a staff physician for Accessible Recovery Services. Dr. Dickun is a board certified Emergency Medicine Physician with over 10 years of experience practicing medicine.
Dr. Dickun grew up in Connecticut and attended college at the University of Connecticut where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. Dr. Dickun’s medical training began in Philadelphia where she attended medical school at Drexel University College of Medicine. Coming from a military family, she joined the United States Navy at that time and completed an Emergency Medicine Residency program at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego. Dr. Dickun served as an active duty Emergency Medicine physician for the U.S. Navy at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, in addition to deploying to Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom and supported the Pacific Fleet at Naval Hospital Guam before being honorably discharged as a Lieutenant Commander in 2016.
At that time, Dr. Dickun and her family returned to the Pittsburgh area where her husband was born and raised. She shifted her focus to learning about wellness, preventative medicine, anti-aging and regenerative medicine which she now practices at the Center for Pain Relief and Longevity. In addition, she continues to stay clinically active in Emergency Medicine at the Site Lead for the UPMC Urgent Care in Wexford. Lastly, she is active in the Addiction Medicine community as a staff physician for Accessible Recovery Services.
