After growing up in Rochester, New York, Hannalore completed her undergraduate degree at Penn State, followed by a Fulbright Fellowship in Munich, Germany to study law. Upon her return, Hannalore and her husband, a Naval officer in the submarine force, were stationed in six states over the next ten years.  Hannalore completed her juris doctor degree at Seattle University School of Law, where she was named to the Dean’s List and as the Faculty Scholar of the Class of 2009. After graduating magna cum laude, Hannalore worked as a judicial clerk for three years in the Superior Court of Connecticut and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Court. She then joined Waller, Smith and Palmer, PC in New London, Connecticut, where she practiced primarily in the areas of litigation and municipal law.
 
Hannalore and her family moved to Pittsburgh after their tenure in the Navy and she joined Osterhout Berger Disability Law in 2014. Hannalore joined the partnership at OBL in 2021 and currently serves as Managing Partner. Outside the office, Hannalore is the President of the Greater Pittsburgh Area Chapter of the Fulbright Association, volunteers with North Hills Community Outreach’s Ask the Attorney Program, and acts as a Key Communicator in the Hampton Township School District.
