A native of western Pennsylvania, Lindsay always knew she wanted to be involved in an area of law that helped others. She began her work helping individuals with disabilities while still in law school. As a student she participated in the University of Pittsburgh, School of Law Disability Law Clinic. The clinic allowed her to represent disability claimants in front of Social Security under the supervision of her professor. Additionally, while in law school, she worked at Berger and Green, a local firm supporting attorneys who handled disability claims. Following graduation, Lindsay continued her work at the firm for two years and began representing claimant’s once admitted into practice. She joined the practice with Karl Osterhout in 2007 and became a partner of the Osterhout Disability Law in 2010.
 
Along with wanting to help others in her profession, Lindsay also dedicates time to her community. She currently is serving an elected term as a Council Member for Oakmont Borough.  Prior to running for office, she served as a board member of the Oakmont Carnegie Library.  She also participates in her local Girls on the Run program as a team coach. She ran a clothing drive to benefit Wood Street Commons and has volunteered serving at a local soup kitchen. Lindsay has also worked on fundraising efforts in the past to support local charities including Beverly’s Birthdays, which provides birthday parties to children in shelters; Together We Rise, which provides duffle bags to children in foster care; and the Riverside Women’s Association, which funds scholarships for local women pursuing education beyond high school.
