Jason G Wehrle

Jason Wehrle is the Managing Partner of the Western Pennsylvania office of Mintzer Sarowitz Zeris Ledva & Meyers, PC.  He has over twenty years experience as a civil litigator.  Jason focuses his practice in representing professionals and businesses throughout Pennsylvania and West Virginia.  In the legal malpractice arena, Jason has successfully defended attorneys and law firms sued as a result of claimed malpractice arising from virtually every underlying field of the practice of law including medical malpractice, securities, corporate litigation, corporate transactions, employment law, bankruptcy, labor law, administrative law, estates & trusts, family law, immigration & naturalization, personal injury, insurance defense, real estate and taxation. 

Jason also regularly defends hospitals, physicians, nursing professionals, dentists, insurance brokers and agents, real estate brokers, architects, engineers, accountants and chiropractors in professional liability claims.

Jason’s experience in Consumer Financial Services Litigation is substantial, and he has defended against every type of consumer claim, including claims under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), as well as state consumer protection laws — both individual claims and class actions. 

Jason is a frequent speaker in several leading consumer financial services industry organizations, such as ACA International, National Creditors Bar Association (NCBA) and the Pennsylvania Creditors Bar Association (PACBA).  He also serves on the NCBA Membership Committee and Defense Bar Committee wherein he provides risk management and compliance advice to NCBA members.

In the area of commercial general liability, Jason routinely handles high exposure matters in the fields of product liability, premises liability, auto liability, construction law, dram shop and commercial litigation. This includes cases involving personal injuries and property damage claims.
