Jeff Schroeffel

Jeff started in inbound marketing while in college at IUP in 1998.  His experience includes the early days of SEO and the very first pay-per-click marketing, Goto.com.  He led a small retail company to eCommerce success and then established an SEO and SEM services at a State College, PA agency.  This led to a move back to Pittsburgh to open Pittsburgh Internet Consulting (PIC) in 2001. PIC has provided online marketing services to hundreds of small to large businesses in the last twenty years.

As an inbound marketing strategist, Jeff’s strength is in providing actionable recommendations and clear guidance to increase traffic, leads and sales.  Jeff has the bottom-line focus that all businesses need as they develop their inbound marketing campaigns. This keeps PIC strategies focused on measuring and delivering a positive ROI.  

Education:

Jeff grew up in Pittsburgh and graduated from Baldwin High School in June 1994. After one year at West Virginia Wesleyan college playing football, he went on to graduate from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Management Information Systems in December of 1999.  Since 1999 he’s been learning by experience, attending conferences, and by devouring online content: blogs, newsletters and endless videos.

Personal:

Jeff is married to a wonderful stay-at-home mom, Kara.  They have two children, a boy and a girl, who attend Pittsburgh Public Schools.  As a family they love to tent camp, kayak and travel near and far.  Whenever the sun is shining in the Northeast, you can assume the Schroeffel’s are camping, at the zoo, an amusement park or outside enjoying life together.  

Jeff and his family are members of the Upper Saint Clair Alliance Church where he was saved in 2002.  They both volunteer in a variety of roles in the church and could not be more blessed by a church community that is truly a family.
