Jessyca P. McCarl

Jessyca P. McCarl, a Pittsburgh Family Law attorney. Jessyca speaks English, French, and Haitian Creole fluently. Jessyca graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a minor in Sociology. Jessyca received and LL.M. in International Human Rights from Lancaster University, ranked top 10 University in the United Kingdom.  Jessyca obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Law and is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

As a certified legal intern with the University of Pittsburgh School of Law Family Clinic, Jessyca assisted pro se litigants navigate the legal system by drafting various pleadings, complaints, and arguing motions before Judges in Allegheny County Family Division. Additionally, Jessyca served as a law clerk for the Honorable Eleanor Bush in Family Division. During law school, Jessyca also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Kim Eaton in Family Division, and the Honorable Edward J. Borkowski in Criminal Division. Furthermore, Jessyca interned with Neighborhood Legal Service Association where she assisted victims of violence in obtaining Protection From Abuse orders. 

Jessyca has focused her practice in Family law, primarily in Custody, Divorce, Child Support, Name Change, and Protection From Abuse.

 Jessyca is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association Family Law Section and Young Lawyers Division.
