Eric VanKirk is an associate at Robb Leonard Mulvihill LLP. He hails from McKeesport Pennsylvania and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Duquesne University in 2004. Mr. VanKirk spent 10 years with the Allegheny County Department of Court Records where he served as Operations Manager for the Criminal Division and returned to school in the evenings to obtain his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law in 2016. While in Law School, he earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Trial Advocacy.

Prior to joining Robb Leonard Mulvihill LLP, Mr. VanKirk clerked for the Honorable Michael A. Della Vecchia in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County allowing him to observe and participate in every aspect of the Civil Court system. He subsequently gained valuable experience at a full service Pittsburgh law firm where he concentrated in general civil litigation, criminal law, and landlord tenant law.

Mr. VanKirk is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of West Virginia, including the United States District Courts for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the Southern District of West Virginia. He is a member of the Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Allegheny County Bar Associations.

Mr. VanKirk sits on the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust Children’s Theatre Advisory Board and volunteers for the Pittsburgh Pro Bono Partnership’s Landlord Tenant Project by providing representation to low-income individuals at landlord tenant mediations in the Allegheny County Housing Court.

In his spare time Mr. VanKirk enjoys playing golf, basketball, and softball. He has been a Penguins Season Ticket Holder for twenty years and enjoys following the team on the road. He lives with his wife and daughters in the South Hills of Pittsburgh.
